Rules
The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined by the 2005-2008 Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS).

Eligibility
The regatta is open to all sailboats on Lake George. Competitors must complete all aspects of the registration process (e.g. registration and fee payment) to become official participants.

Entry and Fees
Registration forms are available at The Offshore Sailing School at The Sagamore, Yankee Boating Center, and online.

To register fill out a registration form and attach a check for the registration fee made payable to The Sagamore. Mail completed registration packet to The Offshore Sailing School at the Sagamore, ATTN: Steve Colletti, 110 Sagamore Road, Bolton Landing NY, 12814.

The entry fee for the regatta is $35.00 (make checks payable to The Sagamore). The entry fee includes a $10 donation to the Y-Knot Sailing program and admission to the post-race celebration.

2 races are scheduled, 1 race will constitute a series.

Penalty Systems
The Scoring Penalty, rule 44.3, will apply.

Scoring, Start, Courses
The Low Point scoring system RRS appendix A will be used; modified such that all completed races will be scored (no throw-outs). This modifies rule A2. The main (PHRF) fleet will start first, following by the Martin 16 fleet in a rolling start sequence (the start signal for the main fleet will be the warning signal for the Martin 16 fleet). Main fleet scored PHRF, Martin 16 fleet scored one design. Courses will be windward-leeward, twice around for the main fleet, once around for the Martin 16 fleet.

Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in the main fleet, and the top three finishers in the Martin 16 fleet.

Rafting
All boats are welcome to raft up to the Sagamore docks after racing for the post race celebration. However, sailors choosing to raft up must be aware that the docks are unprotected. Please bring fenders and lines if you plan on rafting .
