Financial Report: Bob Miller sent a report with Herm
Key bank unreconciled balance of $2472.31
Bob is in the process transferring the Corinthian Account
to Evergreen Bank. As of 2-28-02 balance of $500.
Check sent to US Sail for 2002 insurance. Amount has increased
from $1 to $6 million, at an additional cost of $127.50. Insurance
limits coverage to accidents that occur when the yachts
leave their moorings and continue till they return to their moorings
We have no coverage for sailing schools or accidents that occur
at or after a party. For further information please see attached

There are still outstanding payables.
2002 Budget
Herm passed out 2002 Budget. Of note is the basic membership
fee to remain at $50 and the racing membership fee to increase
to $75 (total $125). This is an increase for racing members from
$105 to $125.
Herm suggested we may get an additional $200 from 2001
clothing. We have 12 shirts

Social Committee: Deb Katz
Ski Gore (Mar 17) concerned that may be cancelled, Deb
will make final decision March 14-15 and contact members.
Sail/Social at Gaffneys, Saratoga (April 6, 5 pm).
The club opening on Saturday May 18, 7 pm will be held
at the Downtown Emporium in Glens Falls.
Deb is working on the after-race socials. She
is investigating ideas for handicap-access places.
It was decided that we would refer to these gatherings
as Sunday Sailing Socials, so that we may increase
the number of attendees.
A suggestion was made that we encourage non-racing members
to shadow the races and then join and socialize after
the races.
Ti Race
Next meeting will be held at the Clifton Park YMCA on March 27
The TI race will be held on June 15.
Sailing Class
The committee approved the Spencers Sailing School
Flyer without changes. All agreed it looked great.
Race Committee: No Report
Junior Sailing/Central NYYRA
We would be listed as sponsors in US sailing Youth racing.
Person chosen must be a member of the LGCYC.
Newsletter
Bill plans to have six issues for 2002. Mailing end of March.
Bill will include the starting procedures, flags etc.
Membership: No Report
Discussed the need for follow up. We will send invoices
separately with a letter in envelope. Herm will discuss with Kim
and Buck
It was approved to raise the fee for racing membership
to $125 ($50 basic; $75 race)
We reviewed and overwhelmingly approved Spencers
suggestion and form for renewals
Other
LGCYC Incorporation and Operating Procedures: Suggested
we add Social Chairperson and Race Chairperson to the designated
officers.
