Social Events
Deb Katz has arranged the annual meeting, elections and banquet.
It will be held on November 3, 2001 at the Waterfront on Saratoga
Lake. Dinner will be buffet style with a cash bar $30 for members.
$35 for non members. The Waterfront is wheelchair accessible.
Chuck Thorne announced that the members of the Corinthians will
receive a free one year membership to the Lake George Mirror.
Officer Nominations
A report was read from Spencer. The race committee nominees are
John Brodie and Bob Rippel.
Communications Newsletter
The final race results will be noted in the final edition of the
Corinthian Newsletter due out in October. This will also announce
the results of the elections.

Spencer and Buck are reviewing the operating procedures and bylaws.
Ti Race Committee Chuck Thorne Rebecca Stanley
Chuck will be meeting with Ned Wait from Adirondack Trust. Rebecca
and Chuck are in contact with the Rotary Club of Lake George.
The regatta in early May might be organized in lieu of, or in
conjunction with the Y-Knot clinic. They will have a boat available.
A videographer may do a promotional piece They are considering
making it a longer weekend.
Youth Program Dave Dougall
Dave explained the US Sailing program for youth and asked the
club if the Corinthians were interested in sponsoring young people
for the Area A/Central NY Region of the US Sailing Youth Program.
He suggested Rex Moon from the Lake George Club. Participants
pay all the expenses. No decision was made at this time.
Sailing Lessons
These will continue this spring. It was suggested that we co-sponsor
them along with the Saratoga Club. We will continue them on the
last Mondays in April.
Other Business
Chuck Thorne suggested we suspend the Corinthian meetings for
November, December and January. All agreed. Herm suggested a trip
to Atlantic City for the Sailboat Show in Jan.
