Corinthian Racing

We sponsor PHRF races on the lake each summer. PHRF is a national handicapping system that allows all sizes and types of boats to compete against each other.

All our races are held in the southern basin of the lake near the northern end of Long Island — with the exception of the Around the Islands Regatta, which takes place around Dome Island and the mouth of the Narrows, and the Lake George Ticonderoga Race, which runs the length of the lake.

Corinthian Racing
Corinthian racing is held on selected Sundays; please see the Events Calendar for dates. In addition to our traditional four specialty races each summer: the Single-Handed Race, the Women’s Race, the Around the Islands Regatta (a white-sails-only, non-spinnaker event aimed at encouraging cruisers and new racers to participate), and our signature long-distance event, the Lake George Ticonderoga Race. This marathon event has been hosted by the Corinthians every year since the early 1970s.
