As if you need an excuse to get out on the lake: go sailing, win 
prizes -- this weekend is Summer Sailstice, the Global Celebration of 
Sailing on the Solstice (http://www.summersailstice.com/). "The meek 
shall inherit the earth, the brave get the oceans (and lakes)."

On Lake George this weekend:

- The Lake George Club J/22 and J/24 racing series begins on Saturday

- The Lake George Corinthian Yacht Club PHRF racing series begins on 
Sunday at 1 pm (http://www.lake-george.com/lgcyc/racecor.html)

- Y-Knot Sailing will host a sailing day on Sunday. Y-Knot is always 
looking for sailors and volunteers, get more info
