The "Dr. E.F.W. Alexanderson Memorial Annual L.G.C. Invitational Race" on Saturday, September 15th. Open to all sailboats, large and small. Registration at the Lake George Club at noon, with a single start at 1:00PM. Come and enjoy our hospitality.

This is one of my annual favorites. When I started racing back in 1978 on Lake George, we used to host a 40+ boat fleet at the Lake George Club. If I was 28 years old back then, how old were you Rik? I recall that your father, Verner, was the one who kept people coming back year after year. He was a great person and an exceptional sailor. I always looked forward to seeing Jack and Donna Haanen at this event too, who donated the beautifully etched 3" thick glass trophy, along with the Kinols. Some of the notables who's names made this trophy are:
