[LG-list] Wednesday Night Series ends, Final Scores

Teaching a fleet of FJs or Opties requires 30 minutes of instruction on land and 37 tries on the water before they get it right!
We're all adults so I challenge everyone to come out again next week and get it right on the first try!
 
How about really short courses (W1s) that only require a boat, mark and start pin so that everyone can have more practice starting and rounding marks for the upcomming regattas??  I am talking 15-minute races.  We could rotate committe too.

Although Race Committee duties kept Joy from competing in the last race of the series his series' finishes were solid enough to hold off the challenge from Crackerjack with his win last night, which moved him into a tie with Joy for 1st place! Each had 3-1sts, and 2-2nds. The next level down broke the tie. See the spreadsheet above for all of the scores and next years order for Race Committee assignments.

Thanks to everyone who made this such an exciting season for racing. But don't stop now! Word has it that a few diehards will be out again next week. There's enough daylight for an hour race. No RC is assigned so we'll have to do a rabbit start. Who knows how?
