[LG-list] Wednesday's wash-out

Wednesday Night's race abandonment was finally announced to the crowd of sailors who were waiting eagerly in their foul-weather gear inside the Lake George Club. Well, maybe not so eagerly for some who found dry comfort inside the club at the bar. Thanks to Eric and Bill for showing such friendly hospitality to all our guests.
 
Watching the Doppler radar on the computer and TV and with heavy rain all day, then claps of thunder and lightning, made for a wise decision by our RC, Amir Mujezinovic.
 
Everyone who showed up at the bar including the crew of John Dickinson’s “Cut Loose” who motored across the lake just to learn the race was cancelled, received a SC-10 finish for their effort. That is known as a Social Credit, taken into account in a tie situation, otherwise, a likely throw-out.  It’s a “rule” from last season for those who attended the mid-series party when that race was abandoned. 
 
Those boats in attendance that received the SC are listed below. Any additions to the list that I may have missed please let me know. SCs are given on a social basis. Kudos to us!
