Racing on Lake George

Second Annual Y-Knot Benefit Regatta

Hosted by The Offshore Sailing School at The Sagamore
Sunday, May 29, 2005

Congratulations to the crews of Witch Way, Joy and Revolution for bringing home the chowder in this year's regatta. Check out results and photos from the event.

There’s a long tradition of sailboat racing on the lake, and while the boats, skippers and crews may change, the challenge and sportsmanship continue.

The Corinthians run PHRF races most Sundays; the Lake George Club races on Saturdays in conjunction with J/24 Fleet 24 and J/22 Fleet 61; sailors from around the southern basin get together on Wednesday nights for PHRF racing; and the Y-Knots are beginning to build a racing tradition around the Martin 16.

Show up with your boat, sign on as crew, or volunteer to help out at a Corinthian or Y-Knot clinic. Racing is a great way to sharpen your sailing skills!
